Coca-Cola: Shame on You...Again!!!

April 10, 2017

COCA-COLA

Shame on you…. again!!!

Remember last year when I sent out word about a new organization that was so bold as to say their panel of ‘experts’, had performed extensive research and came to the conclusion ‘both soda and junk food have no negative impact on the human body’, and that these items ‘in no way attribute to obesity’?

Hahahaha!!!! Right? You and I both knew this was a blatant lie, however, unfortunately, many people actually believed this panel of ‘experts’, simply because it’s what they wanted to hear. Others, with no nutritional research or nutritional background, found it hard to believe and were not necessarily swayed.

These ‘experts’, then went on to say people simply needed to exercise, and if they were currently exercising, they weren’t doing it enough. Go figure.

I have warned you over and over again how the Big Boys like to create a new organization, foundation, cause, etc., then they proceed to finance both the malicious (hidden) cause, and both the scientists, and other, so-called ‘experts’, who were bought off at a pretty price.

This Global Energy Balance Network is (was) a prime example of such criminal behavior, presented ever so bluntly to the people.

Hence, Coca-Cola enters into the Hall of Shame, once again.

Check it out for yourself:

Global Energy Balance Network

Founded 2014; 3 years ago at the University of Colorado and University of South Carolina

Extinction: November 30, 2015

Purpose: front group for Coca Cola [1]

President[1]: James O. Hill

Founder & Vice-President [1]: Steven N. Blair

Founder[1]: Gregory A. Hand

Website: gebn.org (was registered to Coca-Cola headquarters in Atlanta)[1]

The Global Energy Balance Network (GEBN) was a US-based nonprofit claiming to fund research into causes of obesity, but was primarily known for promoting the idea that lack of exercise, not bad diet, was primarily responsible for the obesity epidemic. It has been characterised as an astroturfing[2] organisation. It received substantial funding from Coca-Cola.[3] It has been criticised by nutrition experts for downplaying the role of junk food in obesity.[4] Critics have also accused the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) of supporting GEBN.[5] The ACSM claims it had no affiliation with GEBN.[6]

GEBN's view of weight and metabolic health promoted the idea that weight loss can be achieved by taking more exercise while maintaining the sa[7]me level of consumption[8] - this view "crosses a line by advancing a view that falls outside the scientific consensus", and presents an overly simplistic view of the energy balance equation, with experts noting that "evidence for eating less as a weight-loss strategy is much, much stronger than the evidence for moving more”.[9]

Outcome[edit]

Coca-Cola was given a 2015 "Shonky Award" by Australian consumer organisation Choice, due to its funding of GEBN,[10] which amounted to at least $1.5m in 2015.[3]

On November 30, 2015, the group announced on its website that it would discontinue operations immediately.[11] Shortly before this, the chief public scientist at Coca-Cola announced their retirement.[12] Coca-Cola did not replace the position.

On August 2nd, 2016, it was announced Gregory Hand would be forced out as the Founding Dean of the West Virginia University School of Public Health.[13] Steven Blair would also leave the University of South Carolina at the conclusion of the 2015-2016 academic year.

BOTTOM LINE:

Coca-cola funded and basically created the Global Energy Balance Network, and also funded (paid off), the panel of experts and researchers to come up with studies that showed a favorable outcome for the creator of the plan:

                                                             Coca-cola

Then, went on to produce media with these statements, and started their campaign which blew up in the process, due to the people not being that brainwashed yet.

As a health and fitness professional, I find it unfortunate the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM), was in any way associated with this outrageous campaign.

FOLKS, STICK TO THE BASICS:

  • Lean proteins

  • Nuts and seeds

  • Fresh vegetables

  • Fresh fruit

It seriously is THAT simple!!!

However, for many it is not easy due to:

  • Parents that are uneducated in nutrition, label reading, and short on time

  • Television advertisements running 24/7/365 promoting the opposite of health (This also goes for the 24/7/365 ad’s for medication which run in the U.S., another campaign that’s got people going by the millions to see their doctor to find out if ‘such and such’ is a good drug for them….. GOLD MINE! Don’t buy it.)

  • Ditto movie theaters

  • Corner/convenience stores that are 98% packed with artificial ‘food’

  • Coaches that ask parents to bring ‘treats’ for the team each game

  • Teachers who ask students to bring ‘treats’, countless times throughout the school year

  • Schools that serve fast food on their campuses

  • Schools that have both soda machines and vending machines available to kids

  • Ditto public buildings

And the list goes on…

Eating and keeping ones self was never meant to be complicated. In fact, when done correctly, it is very simple. People used to rely on the food they grew and produced from their gardens, trees, vines, and bushes to sustain them.

The majority of the population these days (Amish is the exception, by far), depends on their local grocer, bulk food stores, and the like.

Raising your own food is a priceless art. Regain your enthusiasm for garden fresh foods, and enjoy the outdoors, and exercise while you’re at it.

Next ad reads:

“Have a soft drink before your main meal.

SUGAR JUST MIGHT BE THE WILLPOWER YOU NEED TO CURB YOUR APPETITE.

We know it sounds odd - but it can work.

Spoil your appetite by eating something with sugar.

Sugar works faster than any other food to turn your appetite down, your energy up.

Then when mealtime comes you’re less apt to overeat.

Willpower never tasted so good.

Sugar only 18 calories per teaspoon, and it’s all energy.”

Brought to you be the good ole government itself. Times have not changed a bit, it’s just gone undercover my friends. Beware and Be Aware!!!

Here’s another one….  “Buy it baked, it’s better!” Boy, they’ve sure been successful with this campaign! Baked goods are literally, everywhere!

Here’s another beauty for you:

"How soon is soon enough to start soda?

Not soon enough.  Laboratory tests over the last few years have proven that babies who start drinking soda during that early formative period have a much higher chance of gaining acceptance and “fitting in” during those awkward pre-teen and teen years.  So, do yourself a favor.

Do your child a favor.

Start them on a strict regimen of sodas and other surgery carbonated beverages right now, for a lifetime of guaranteed happiness."

Billions of people have bought into these campaigns of blatant falsehoods. Look at society today. You can’t even fly from A-B without being offered a drink of it.

Can you see how society has been played? Do you realize the strength of large corporations, organizations, foundations, etc., that have a lot of money (and greedily want more, at your expense of course), and run large advertising campaigns, everywhere, non-stop, throughout the decades?

“If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it. The lie can be maintained only for such time as the State can shield the people from the political, economic and/or military consequences of the lie. It thus becomes vitally important for the State to use all of its powers to repress dissent, for the truth is the mortal enemy of the lie, and thus by extension, the truth is the greatest enemy of the State.” - Joseph Goebble

The joke is on you!!! Please, understand, these pranksters have A LOT of ‘jokes’, up their sleeve, to the point they have been steadily pouring out of their sleeves and run through news stations such as ABC, NBC, CBS, CNN, and on it goes.

Jokes are written in the ‘Funny’ section of the newspaper, but few realize all the ‘funnies’ written everywhere else in the guise of experts, scientists, studies, reports, blah, blah, blah, on each and every other page throughout. So sly, so cunning.

These jokes are not funny my friends, they can and indeed are harming, maiming, and outright killing populations around the globe….. but hey, there are doctors, and hospitals, and centers to treat all these people, right? Yeah, right. All owned by the Big Boys too, laughing all the way to the bank, which they own, as well.  After killing the roughly 225,000-444,000 that die from their mistakes, the lucky ones who make it out hardly ever realize what brought them there to begin with.

The soul believes it was the disease they were labeled with. Little do they know it was in large part due to the toxic ‘food’, and ‘drink’, they have been raised and conditioned to consume. Hence, habits go unchanged and it’s not long before health goes south again.

I see and deal with it on a regular basis, and have for years.

People who desire to get off (yes, as in a drug, as the chemical concoctions created and manipulated in labs are designed to ‘hook’, and trick your very own senses, over-wise known as over-riding and hijacking your senses), of these so-called ‘foods’, and feel like they are dealing with the devil himself.

“You can’t eat just one!” Damn right you can’t, it hijacks and takes over your sense of satiety. Compliments of the devil himself, and the evil men who have sold their souls to him for money, power, and a sense of control.

Here’s a more modern day one for you, I couldn't load the ad on this blog, it but talks about how McDonalds 'Food" has 55% protein for you and more vitamins and minerals than the average Australian meal.....

Such utter BS!!! More vitamins and minerals than the average Australian meal? Pleeeeease.

Please, folks, if you are ‘using’ this stuff….. GET OFF OF IT ASAP!!!

One is kidding themselves if they think the same nonsense isn’t played out today, day after day, with billions of suckers playing into their hands.

REMEMBER, STICK TO THE BASICS:

  • Lean proteins

  • Nuts and seeds

  • Fresh vegetables

  • Fresh fruit

Organic, certified GMO free, then you do not have to worry about:

  • Additional sugar

  • Gluten intolerance

  • Artificial sweeteners

  • Flavorings

  • Preservatives

  • Dyes / coloring

  • MSG

  • Modified…,  God knows what…

  • Bleach (yes, you’d be surprised how much bleach people consume)

  • Enriched (God’s formula cannot be surpassed)

  • High fructose corn syrup

  • Hydrogenated ingredients

  • Partially hydrogenated ingredients

  • Soybean or cottonseed oil (A big one in all processed food, all GMO!)

  • Additives

The above list, as the others, continues to grow…
