My name is Nick and I'm a part of Team Cosmo BYU.  I was the one without shoes since I sprained my toe last week.  I wanted to thank you for coming to our practice on Thursday and pushing us to a new level.  It put some things in perspective for me.  How far I can push my body and mind...and also how far I have to go.  But I like a challenge.  I plan on making some lifestyle changes that will help me reach new heights which you have shown me that I am capable of reaching.  Thank you for being inspiring.  Next time...I will not owe any burpies at the end.

My name is Nate, Jill has been training our group of Army ROTC cadets. I've been an avid workout nut since running track (pole vaulting, decathlon) in high school, so I've spent my fair share of time in the weight room and on the track. As an athlete she has helped me improve in agility and grow in lean muscle--overall I feel healthier for it. Jill's workouts have opened up a world of new plyometric and calisthenic exercises/movements for me, and to boot she is a tremendous motivator.

Tight Body Boot Camp has been the best work out I have ever participated in. It constantly brings new challenges into my workouts that not only improves my physical strength, agility, and coordination but also helps me build mental toughness. I have participated in several different workouts and I have never physically been challenged

When January 2016 rolled around, I was encouraged by my mom to participate in a meal plan and training program. I was intimidated and came up with every excuse I could, but finally gave in and decided to give it a try. Much to my surprise, I began dropping even more weight and body fat. In six weeks I dropped from 123 lbs. to 114 lbs. and I went from 18.5% body fat to 13.1%.

Why did you choose Jill as your trainer?

I chose Jill because she's such a good role model, approachable, professional, and obviously knowledgeable and experienced. She is a colleague I respect and admire. She really walks the walk!
 
What is it you like about Jill, as a person?


Jill is so positive all the time, always smiling and encouraging. She's very warm & caring & fun to be around.
 
What did you like about your training program?


I liked that it was very specific for my body and my goals. It was challenging for me, but I knew that I would get results.


How has training helped you, physically?


I lost 10% body fat in just 5 weeks-- I never thought that was possible! I feel so much stronger, leaner, and cleaner. I love seeing my muscles pop. I thought I might feel more tired, but overall, my energy has been great. I've also noticed my skin looks better and my hair is growing faster!


Has training helped you in other areas of your life, as well?   If so, how?


It has given me the willpower to be more self-disciplined in mutliple areas of my life. I feel like I'm accomplishing more in my day because I'm not always hanging out in my pantry!


Would you refer others to Jill for training? If yes, why?


Yes, I already have! Jill has a great understanding of the human body and a lot of experience in health and wellness, as well as figure and body building. She can address all aspects of training.

I first became acquainted with Jill when I decided to try a Zumba class at my gym.  After one class I was addicted!  Jill's enthusiasm and fun teaching style immediately had me hooked.  Shortly after starting the class Jill became my personal trainer.  I was looking to build some muscle and tone my body, but first I had to overcome my fear of the free weights and insecurities with the gym in general.  Jill has been a truly motivational force from the very beginning.  She encouraged me and helped me overcome my fears, working at my pace while also challenging me to take risks and lift weights I never thought I could.  Her training style is optimistic and reassuring; she never bullies.  I found that I was challenging myself to set fitness goals and go beyond each prior workout session.  One thing I particularly like about Jill is that she is so knowledgeable about nutrition and holistic medicine.  I am always picking her brain about something and she happily shares her knowledge.  It is obvious to me that she loves teaching and helping people achieve their fitness goals.  I wholeheartedly recommend Jill as a trainer.

Jill is an incredible personal trainer and nutritionist who genuinely cares about her clients. I had several concerns going into my meal plan including: I didn’t want to be hungry, I am a busy mother of a toddler and a baby and don’t have tons of time to meal prep, and I was still breastfeeding my 8-month-old and didn’t want dietary changes to affect my milk supply.


Jill took all of these concerns into careful consideration and created a meal plan entirely unique to my needs and situation. The meals were simple to prepare, the portion sizes were plenty to keep me satisfied, and to my surprise, my milk supply actually increased. Additionally, headaches I was having almost daily due to imbalanced blood sugars, disappeared altogether.


Jill was thorough in showing me how to complete the training exercises on my exercise routine to ensure I did them correctly and efficiently. Even though I felt healthy and in shape at the start, Jill helped me recognize that I can do hard things. So far I have lost 10 lbs. and am down 5% body fat. If I had to describe Jill’s work in three words, I would say it is genuine, professional, and thorough.

I was referred to Jill for training. I’ve lost both weight, and inches. Jill’s always positive-even when I felt like dying, she was there encouraging me to follow through, and I did! Jill works me hard, with a lot of variety, and knows how to modify exercises for those who have injuries. Training has improved my endurance, for sure, as well as, physical stamina. Her training is very wholistic. Her training and various modalities help you feel balanced as a person. I refer my friends to Jill, she is easy to get along with, and very inspiring.

Why Didi I choose Jill As My Trainer?:

I saw Jill at the October  2010 NPC Nutrimart Classic in Women's bodybuilding.  She has an incredible physique, and I was thoroughly impressed!  I have already made arrangements to train with someone else, However, I chose to go with Jill, because she was a much better fit for me and my fitness goals.

What is it you like about Jill as a person?

Jill is very patient and kind, and knowledgeable! She has a great temperament, and is easy to work with.  She is firm and has high expectations and will push you to do your very best. She is positive and

What you liked about your training program?

Jill was excellent at having something new to do each time, a master at mixing it up so you are never bored, your body is always guessing, and you maximize your fitness potential! I loved the mix of
traditional power lifting moves, mixed with Plyometrics,  weights, cardio, and multiple compound movements. Totally LOVED my training program!!

How has training helped you physically?

My training has helped me earn the best physique I have ever had. Without a doubt, at 40, I have a far superior physique to the one I had at 25, yet I FEEL like I'm 25! It has helped my lower back strength,
and I am virtually pain free all the time!

Has Training helped you in other areas of your life? How So?

The Training has helped me to be accountable for each workout, and inspire me to keep beating my own records.  I've worked out at the gym off and on for 20 years, but was never able to achieve the results
I've been able to obtain while working with Jill.  I was also able to overcome my stage fright, and compete in my first competition because of the confidence I've gained while training with Jill.

In early 2015 I had decided I needed to lose 20 pounds. I got talking to Jill at the gym and was so impressed with her and her amazing work outs and her amazing body, and I decided to have her help coach me through this weight loss. She created an amazing meal plan which I ended up following for a few months until I lost the weight. I had some events that caused me to go off the meal plans for a day or two or week, but then got right back on.  I met with Jill on a regular basis for weigh-ins and measurements. She is so positive and encouraging!! By June I had lost the 20 pounds, just in time to participate in the Wasatch Back Ragnar. I would totally recommend her to anyone wanting a fitness or weight loss coach.
